This week the CivilMPlus delegation visited Warsaw to meet local partners from civil society and official institutions.

Polish civil society demonstrates strong solidarity with Ukraine since the very beginning of the Russian invasion. Poland is currently hosting the highest number of Ukrainian refugees in the EU.

This is why CivilMPlus will hold this years’ high-level forum on Ukraine in Warsaw in autumn.  

At the meetings with Polish partners, we exchanged views on how to advocate for a stronger support of Ukraine in the EU, discussed the need for a stronger regional cooperation in favour of Ukraine, as well as topics of humanitarian assistance, refugee support, and combatting human trafficking.
