War crimes against children

On International Children’s Day, we urge you to remember the crimes committed by the Russian army against Ukrainian children. In addition to the stress, the daily risk of losing loved ones, injury, and death, children in Ukraine face the daily threat of deportation to Russia and forced placement into Russian families.
In Russia-occupied territories, children’s minds have become the object of massive propaganda:
– In Melitopol, children are forced to join pro-Russian patriotic organizations, where military training is provided and Ukraine’s distorted history is studied.
– In Genichesk, a branch of the Russian “Movement of the First” was created, which is responsible for the ideological indoctrination of schoolchildren.
– In Mariupol, the occupants conduct “Lessons of Courage” with the involvement of the Russian military.
– The occupation administrations of Crimea continue to heroize Russian soldiers. They give names to streets, place commemorative plaques on buildings, install honorary desks with photos of fallen Russian soldiers.
