Russia has banned the supply of oil and oil products to Ukraine
This was stated by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Thursday, April 18, at a government meeting. He explained that in Russia there is a ban on the export to Ukraine of Russian oil and oil products, and also a list of those goods that from June 1 of this year can be exported only on the basis of individual permits.
“This category includes the primary products, including coal and the very same oil and oil products,” he said.
Also, according to him, the ban on the import into Russia of certain types of goods is expanding.
“This measure will affect Ukrainian engineering products, light manufacturing, metalworking, the cost of which for the last year amounted to almost $250 million,” Medvedev added.
