More than 160 victims are children, said Osnat Lubrani, UN coordinator for humanitarian issues in Ukraine.
“It also impedes access to infrastructure: markets, schools, etc. People also cannot engage in agricultural work or fishing,” Lubrani added.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine cites other figures: according to their information, 833 civilians suffered from an explosion on mines: 269 died and 564 were injured, including 125 children. So, 27 children were killed and 98 were injured.
