The chairperson of the board of the Luhansk Regional Human Rights Centre “Alternativa”. In 2010, he was elected as a deputy of the town council of Alchevsk, Luhansk oblast, that currently not under the control of Ukrainian authorities. In 2014, in connection with the start of the armed conflict in the east of Ukraine, he was forced to move to Kyiv. Since its move, the main activities of the organisation relate to the documentation of human rights violations connected with the armed conflict in Donbas and engaging civil society representatives in dialogue with aim of bringing about peace and consensus.
