{"id":5907,"date":"2021-05-16T19:42:31","date_gmt":"2021-05-16T16:42:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/civilmplus.org\/actors\/free-russia-foundation\/"},"modified":"2021-07-19T11:01:58","modified_gmt":"2021-07-19T08:01:58","slug":"free-russia-foundation","status":"publish","type":"actors","link":"https:\/\/civilmplus.org\/en\/actors\/free-russia-foundation\/","title":{"rendered":"Free Russia Foundation"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><b><i>Official position\/function in relation to the conflict<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4freerussia.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Free Russia Foundation<\/a> is an American NGO created in 2014 by a group of Russian emigrants \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.4freerussia.org\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>to unite the Russian community abroad and support pro-democratic forces within Russia<\/em><\/a>\u201d<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Since then, the Foundation has implemented a number of programs in support of Russian pro-democratic movements, projects related to assistance to Russian and Ukrainian political prisoners, Russian emigrants, as well as projects in the field of combating propaganda.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Foundation works with American politicians, members of Congress, senators, executive officials, and representatives of the expert community in the West, providing them with an analysis of events in Russia, Ukraine, and Eastern Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><b><i>Actions in relation to the conflict region<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/freerussiahouse.org\/projects\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In its activities, the Foundation pays<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> c<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">onsiderable attention to Ukraine. The House of Free Russia operates in Kyiv.
