Ukraine and Eastern European Expert, ZIF

Eastern European historian, Associate Fellow at the Robert Bosch Center for Central and Eastern European, Russian and Central Asian Studies at the German Society for Foreign Policy (DGAP). He is a member of the Strategic Group “Key States” of the project “European Neighborhood Strategies”, where he analyses Russia’s neighborhood policy with the EU. Wilfried Jilge has been a board member of the German-Ukrainian civil society forum Kiewer Gespräche (Kyiv Dialogues) since 2005. He is an expert of the civil society platform CivilMPlus. Wilfried Jilge advises members of the German Bundestag and representatives of the German Federal Government, as well as members of the European Union, on issues related to Ukraine and Russia.
