The possibility of a rapid exchange between Russia and Ukraine is not ruled out by Aleksey Chesnakov, director of the Political Science Center.
“In addition, there may be developments in the humanitarian sphere. I would not be surprised if there were an exchange of detainees in the coming weeks. <…> And sailors too. Although this is not a question of the “Normandy format”, but rather of bilateral relations between Russia and Ukraine, as well as the entire Azov-Kerch case,” Chesnakov said in an interview with Actual Comments.
Yesterday, Vadim Rabinovich, one of the leaders of the “Opposition Platform – For Life” party, stated that his colleague and relative of the russian president, Viktor Medvedchuk, is negotiating the release of prisoners.
