Matthias Lüttenberg is an expert on the region of Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia. Since 2014 he worked as the Deputy Head and later Head of the Department for Eastern, Central and Southeastern Europe, Southern Caucasus, Central Asia at the Chancellor’s Office, before moving to the Federal Foreign Office.
