Mr. Ilya Nuzov

FIDH, Head of Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Lecturer at the Institute for Political Studies

Ilya Nuzov is Eastern Europe and Central Asia Desk Director for the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH). He is also a Lecturer at the Paris Institute of Political Sciences. Previously he was a Legal Advisor at the International Center for Transitional Justice and Researcher/Teaching Assistant at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights. He authored several publications and academic papers in international humanitarian law, human rights, and transitional justice. Some of his latest works are “Post-Conflict Justice: Extending International Criminal Responsibility to Non-State Entities” (2020) and and «The Dynamics of Collective Memory in the Ukraine Crisis: A Transitional Justice Perspective». Mr. Nuzov is an attorney admitted to the New York Bar.
