Ms. Valentina Cherevatenko holds a PhD in political science. She is a participant of the initiatives of civic (people’s) diplomacy in conflict regions. Ms. Cherevatenko has the experience in initiating and developing dialogue processes. In 2005, in a group of 1,000 women she was nominated for Nobel Peace Prize. The winner of the French-German Prize in 2016. The winner of the RAW in WAR (Reach All Women in War) award in 2016. Ms. Cherevatenko is a member of the initiative group of the Women’s Initiatives for Peace in Donbas – WIPD transnational dialogue platform aimed at creating conditions for peaceful conflict resolution.
