Meet the new Coordination Council of the CivilM+

Representatives of five organizations have become members of the Coordination Council: Valentina Cherevatenko, coordinating chairperson of the Regional Human Rights Organisation ‘Union of the “Don Women”’, Sergey Krivenko, coordinator of the human rights initiative ‘Citizen and Army’, Oleksandra Matviichuk, Head of the human rights organization ‘Center for Civil Liberties’, coordinator of the initiative ‘Euromaidan SOS’, Stefan Melle, director of the non-governmental organization DRA (German-Russian Exchange), Valery Novikov, chairperson of the board of the Luhansk Regional Human Rights Centre ‘Alternativa’.

New Coordination Council was elected in November 2019, at a meeting of the members of the Platform in Kyiv.

The Platform unites 16 independent civil society organizations from Ukraine, France, Germany, Poland and the Russian Federation. Their focus in on human rights protection, peacebuilding and dialogue, and their joint goal is peaceful resolution of the conflict in Donbas.
